When the cover is folded to the back of the notepad, it lies open on its own so that you canquickly jot a note down without having to fumble with the cover again. There is a title section at the top of each page so you can categorize and organize your notes. The grey 5mm grid pattern is on the front of each sheet; the back side is blank since you will be folding each page back. Each sheet is perforated so you can easily tear pages out and file them separately.
