Taku Bannai is a Tokyo-based illustrator known for his minimalist collage style and poetic take on everyday scenes. He creates artwork for advertisements, books, magazines, and album covers. His notable works include projects for Volkswagen, Coca-Cola Ayataka Cafe, the film Honey Boy, theater company Roro, and the Pocari Sweat commercial song Blue Souls. His simple yet expressive illustrations leave space for the viewers imagination to wander.

Cozyca wasstartedin 2013 by the well-established stationery company, Hyogensha, which had been founded in 1948. Cozyca was launchedto promote the works of independent artists and inspire writers by making available beautiful stationery that depicts the view from different artists' worlds. Cozyca also has a store in Kyoto called Hiraeth that displays all the artist collaboration stationery designs they produce as well as exhibits different artists' works in their gallery on the top floor.
